- Hi all,
- According to this months Amiga Format, the Hi-Q Siamese system (basically a
- PC bridgeboard system for the excellent Hi-Q PowerStation which allows an Amiga
- and a PC to live side by side and share peripherals etc.) is due for release
- soon. Hi-Q have a web site (http://www.hiq.co.uk) but I have been unable to
- access it (our internet provider seems to dislike www.hiq.co.uk,
- www.hisoft.co.uk, www.demon.co.uk, www.idg.co.uk i.e. a sizable fraction of
- interesting Amiga sites). I would be grateful if some nice person could have a
- look at the Hi-Q site and post/email some details about the system e.g.
- processor options, price, compatibility with accelerators, can it share HD
- floppy drives, CDROM drives, memory etc. I would intend to use it mainly to
- access the vast amount of PC CDROM software which is available whilst waiting
- (impatiently) for more Amiga software to become available on CDROM.
- On a completely different subject, does anyone know when/if the ZIP drive
- will be available as an internal SCSI option on its own - so far it only seems
- to be available if you buy a Mac (which is a bit drastic!).
- Thanks in advance,
- Adrian
